Ear Services

Specialising in ear surgery and hearing reconstructions, our team of expert ENT consultants also specialise in pediatric ENT services. Our consultants provide various surgical procedures including stapes surgery, revision surgery, and implantable hearing aids. Additionally, we focus on treating balance disorders and ear trauma, particularly in SCUBA divers. ​We also have an Ear Nurse on hand for ear wax removal, ear checks, and cleaning.

Throat Services

We are able to offer an excellent assessment of your neck and throat problems. ​Using high-definition cameras, we can view any area that could be causing concern. ​Our surgeons regularly perform surgery on the larynx (voice box), salivary glands and other diseases affecting the neck and throat. ​We have close national networks to ensure any treatment you may need is of the highest standard.

Nose Services

We have Specialist ENT Consultants whose interests are nasal reconstruction, allergy management and treatment of sinus disease to help you breathe. ​​We have the latest equipment for assessment, monitoring and treatment.  ​Our surgeons have been trained in advanced nasal and sinus surgery. They continue to keep up to date, attending international conferences and are members of the Australia & New Zealand Rhinologic Society and the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons.  ​You will get excellent, honest, evidence-based care. ​Surgical areas include nasal, sinus, rhinoplasty, head and neck and facial plastics.

Speech and Language Therapy

There is an in-house Speech and language Therapist who offers the following services:

​Assessment and treatment for adults with acquired communication disorders including Aphasia, Dysarthria, Apraxia of Speech, Voice disorders, Cognitive communication disorders, Alternative communication options (e.g. low-tech/ipad).

​

Assessment and treatment for adults with dysphagia/swallowing impairments including post-surgical assessment and rehabilitation of swallowing, assessment of aspiration risk, recommendations about safe diet/fluid textures, advice on management of chronic cough and reflux.  Specialist objective instrumental assessment of swallowing is available onsite. (Flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES).  Referrals can be made for Videoflouroscopic Study of Swallowing (VFSS).
